The Republican Party Under A Trance

Has the entire Republican Party been hypnotized! Is it possible that the Russians have developed hypnosis to the point where an entire Party has been mentally captured? Lindsey Graham, a Naval Officer, who served as a lawyer in our Armed Forces says he won't listen to any of the witnesses testimony... career government employees with years of service are being brushed aside as components in a grand scheme to destroy the Trump Presidency.

Hypnosis… how else would you explain the millions whom follow Trump, a con artist, as if he were the Pied Piper; what else could produce similar results? With so many White House staffers either promoting or blindly supporting a completely bizarre plot to destroy America, what else could fit as the only answer for what is occurring throughout the country considering Trump is a bona-fide prevaricator. 

How does hypnotism work? How can mass audiences be entranced under a spell that makes the hypnotized believe what is not there. Republicans endorsed a 1.5 trillion dollar tax cut unanimously, as if it were a needed Transportation Bill! Until this day, the Party known for conservatism, has yet to mention the looming financial disaster our country will be subjected to shortly because of Trump policies. 

Mass hypnosis is what happens when a message is repeated so that it implicitly makes sense and is accepted by a mass of individuals whom have no direct connection to each other. Mass hypnosis happens when a form of communication is directed to the masses. We have all witnessed hypnosis used remedially, for entertainment purposes, and for a number of other reasons, but does it truly work? 

I'm inclined to believe it does! It would explain the mood changes on Trump's face coming out of a private meeting with Putin in Helsinki; the manner with which Trump answers the question 'Do you believe Putin's denial of having interfered in our elections'? His weak reply showed no conviction! If any of what I suppose is true, the mere thought of it having become a reality is monumental!

The Truth About 'ObamaCare''

I said that, to say this, if you don't know what "ObamaCare" is, than it is natural to refuse to accept what you think is being 'forced' on you. I studied the legislation from its inception in Congress. I came away with the realization that it is good for a number of reasons, among them; this improved health care legislation eliminates fraud, it allows eligible individuals, and their families to have access to health care legitimately without subjecting the Health Care Industry to be burdened with cost overruns due to unpaid for Emergency Room visits.

What Republican legislators don't like about the Bill is the fact that it puts the feet of the Insurance Industry to the fire, in that it stops the Insurance Industry from denying coverage for pre-existing conditions, it allows the unemployed to buy health insurance at a price that will be subsidized by the taxes placed on the top three percent of taxpayers, and sets aside a fund to support the need of low income families to obtain health insurance.

One of the things that the Republicans have voiced, with the result being that the uninformed have championed the Republican outcry, is that everyone eligible is being 'forced' to buy this Health Care Plan. What the Republicans are telling everyone is that you will be fined, if you don't buy-in to the plan. The truth of the matter is, that for the plan to work, everybody must have some form of health insurance.

If you like the plan that your employee is offering - do nothing. If you think that you gain an advantage through the proposed changes to how we are all insured, buy-in to the plan that best fits your needs. Those not choosing either, and not having any form of insurance, will be fined the cost of what it takes to insure them with a basic plan that fits their basic needs. As a result, the hospital industry gets paid for patients who received services from them and no one goes bankrupt because of a catastrophic illness.

'ObamaCare' also increases the funding to Medicare and Medicaid by reducing the fraud and abuse. Fraud and abuse are the greatest liabilities of the above named health care entities because many doctors, hospitals, and pharmaceuticals are abusing the system to the tune of five hundred billion dollars a year! When fraud and abuse are taken out of the equation, you now have more money with which to increase the level of care to those eligible to receive it! No waste, no fraud, no abuse = a uniformed system of health care that denies no one.

President Obama and Attorney General Holder have launched an aggressive campaign to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse within the Heath Care Industry.  Instead of supporting these types of initiatives to reduce/eliminate the factors that create huge profits at considerable cost to the American taxpayer, Republicans are trying to stymie any effort to protect the American consumer from a predator that feeds on a basic human need - access to good and efficient health care services that do not discriminate!  Senator McConnell (R-Ky) has repeatedly said, in recent days, that he will 'repeal' ObamaCare!

The biggest problem with this new health care legislation is that it was never explained properly to those whom it would affect the most - the American consumer!  I give all the props to President Obama for not having done so.

Protecting Your Right to Vote

Protecting your right to vote is priority one. As with previous elections the Republican Party has again set its eyes on a goal of restricting as many individuals from exercising their right to vote as possible.

One way that the Repugnant Party is attempting to achieve this goal is by targeting those who have lost their homes to foreclosure. Here is how they are doing it:

1. If you have lost your home to foreclosure, you are a target because you are registered to vote under the address of the home that you no longer own.

2. All voters presenting identification are being screened against a list that is being circulated by the Repugnant Party. That list contains the name of every homeowner who has lost his home due to foreclosure. If you did not update your voter registration card, you will not be allowed to vote in this general election.

3. Go immediately to the nearest Motor Vehicular Department, Voter Registration Center and renew your voter registration card to reflect your new address. If you do not accomplish this task before the end of the day on October 6, 2008, you won’t be a participator in the general election of the century.

There are other ways that the Repugnants are attempting to block voters from the voter’s booth. I have included a message (PDF) from Senator Benjamin Cardin (D) Maryland wherein you can make yourself aware of other ways that you can lose your right to vote. Senator Cardin participated in hearings to uncover the ways your civil rights are being violated by a coalition of Republicans hell-bent on disrupting voters at the polling booths.
